Vigilante - TV Show Review

I will begin this review by stating that I LOVE Kdramas. But I'm also very picky. The plotline has to be strong to keep my interest. So many are longer than they have a story for.

Meaning that you'll have a 16-episode series, where every ep. is over 1 hour. And there isn't ANYTHING else going on than just two people meeting and trying to fall in love.

Sorry, but you can do that in 6-8 episodes or less.

For me to be wrapped up, I want the romance and the action, the intrigue, the backstabbing... something else has to be going on. Or, if it's just thriller and drama, then give it to me with high intensity like this series right here.

Man, when I tell you I was glued to my HULU account, waiting impatiently for each new ep of its gem, please believe me. This one was on the top of my watch list and it didn't disappoint.

Your anti-hero was a hero, baby. But this series has some nice twists and turns that I didn't see coming. And if you know anything about me, is that I can spot a plot twist a mile away. It's almost a curse because I'm rarely shocked by developments in plotlines. So, when I get something I didn't see coming... color me more delighted than a porn star with a sugar dick.

This show was dark, gritty, and full of action. No punches were pulled and it was in the spirit of Frank Castle. It's only 8 episodes for S1, but they can go ahead and release S 2 right now. There were some moments of humor, but that also depends on your sense of humor. I'm a little twisted, so I found a couple of things very funny.

I just really enjoyed this show.

FINAL VERDICT: INNOCENT LIKE A KID WITNESSING THINGS THAT'LL MAKE THEM GROW UP TO TAKE ON THE MANTLE OF VENGENEANCE. Bailiff, release this series at once and roll out the red carpet to its waiting limousine. Show, my court apologizes for this inconvenience. There will be champagne and strawberries in your limo. Please have a nice day.
