Whoever came up with that title needs their ass whooped. I bet they thought they were being all kinds of clever with that title and the script.
No! Not you aren't. I really like Kristen Bell. I have a fondness from her dating back to my Veronica Mars days. She's a great actress and had a charisma that shines on screen.
So much so, that was the ONLY thing tolerable about this TV series. I'll admit, the mystery was interesting enough to keep me intrigued. I did watch to the end, but my eyes rolled so many times, I looked like Cookie Monster by the end of the final ep.
The ex-husband was just too stupid to be trusted with a doll, let alone and real child. The plot just had so many silly moments. The show felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be. Dark comedy thriller? Serious thriller, quirky cozy mystery or comedy horror.
The weakest thing about the series are the characters. I do not want to watch season two, if they make one.
FINAL VERDICT: GUILTY FOR THE CRIME OF BORING THE HELL OUT OF ME and at the same time, intriguing me. Damn you, TV show, next time just show me a dead fly next to a fly swatter. That makes for a better Who-Done-It.
