Harder They Fall

First off, I had wanted to watch this movie the day it came out, but my friend was like "No, wait, watch it with me."

So, three days later, they trifling ass finally ready to watch the movie. It started off giving me everything I wanted to see. I even loved some of the tricks with the camera like the dramatic zoom ins.

And I loved seeing Del Roy Lindo in the movie. he just looks like a mofo that ain't about the bullshit.

And am I the only one who was obsessed with that chicken in the beginning? Come on, now, I can't be the only one licking their lips over that chicken. It was roasted to perfection, all glistening and charred just right. Ready to be cut into, looking all juicy and shit. Mmmmmmm.

Okay, damn, i'm sorry. I got beside myself just then. I just love a roasted chicken, and hated to see it go to waste. Y'all know I'm a foodie. I enjoyed the action and the twists. Some stuff happened that I didn't see coming. However, the one flaw that I found disappointing was the whole Damsel in Distress story they decided to go with.

We didn't need it and it just made that character stupid. But other than that, I enjoyed it. I also loved that it was mainly an all black cast that didn't involve slavery or some other played out plotline. It was a western and I was here for it.

And that soundtrack was bad ass. I ran my ass over to Amazon to snatch up some songs.

FINAL VERDICT: INNOCENT like my wallet was before I saw this movie and heard the music. I see what you did there, movie... leaving the door open for a possible sequel. Well, if you do, you better bring another awesome soundtrack. Bailiff, release this movie before that chicken gets cold. I shed a tear every time a good looking meal goes uneaten in movies/TV. LOL.
