Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Finally got around to watching this on the N this weekend.

This is actually going to be a rather brief review. I did enjoy the movie, I laughed out loud at some scenes, chuckled at others.

But I felt the mystery was lacking a bit. I knew who the killer was immediately. There was a twist that I didn't see coming, which was a nice touch. And just how certain things played out was cool.

But I will say the first Knives Out film was better all around. I really wasn't sure which character was guilty until we got a bit more towards the end. With this movie, there was no guessing.

Daniel Craig was as charming here as he was in the first one, really, he did carry the film the most. Jonelle M. was also pretty good. It was a fun little--Well, I ain't going to tell that lie... shit was over 2 hours long and I FELT IT. Neither the plot nor the characters were compelling enough to justify that running time. Still, it was mildly entertaining, I'm glad I saw it.

FINAL VERDICT: INNOCENT but I do declare that you are indeed guilty of being a little boring and predictable. Bailiff, you can release this movie, it's free to go.

I agree, the first was way better but I must admit - I really liked that twist in the middle

I watched it this weekend as well. I agree I knew who the killer was immediately too. It was entertaining, but could have been so much more.

Yeah, it just wasn't enough intrigue to throw you off like the first movie had.
