Eternals

Updated: Nov 9, 2021

Now, I've seen every single Marvel movie made. And so, I had to see this one too. I enjoyed it, but it's def. Not one of Marvel's best. I thought Shang-Chi was better.

I'll try not to spoil it.

But I feel like the Eternals should have been introduced in an Avgengers' movie. I thought that would be the set up at the end of Shang-Chi, but nope.

It was just hard for me to see what was at stake and not have ONE Avenger pop up to help.

But anyway, there was a lot I enjoyed and some stuff that made me cock my eyebrow. Stuff that didn't make sense to me.

Get ready for lots of staring that almost match that of Twilight and Meet Joe Black.

Almost.

How they gone have both Stark brother in the same movie and give them a brief meeting. Anyway, Cersi's romance with Kit Harrington's character felt like an afterthought. So, I was never invested in it. There was no chemistry between them.

There was some humor, mainly from Kingo and his friend. And the other Eternal who mastered technology. There was a beam in the sky, wouldn't be a Marvel movie without at least one beam. The action was cool, I enjoyed it. Just don't go in expecting ALL of them to be badasses.

Special effects were well done. Soundtrack flowed with the movie. It was fun, but not on the scale of say, Endgame or Infinity War.

FINAL VERDICT: INNOCENT like a puppy with a tightly closed mouth and puffed out jaws as they stand in front of your plate that once had a sandwich on it before you looked away. Yeah, the dog didn't eat it. You just forgot that you did. Anyway, I digress. Bailiff, release this film so that it may entertain the masses.
